Strong Rock Cross Country

We have been running hard and long. Practices before and after school have been going great. We appreciate the hard work and dedication of all of our runners. Many of our team members chose to keep up their running over the summer to prepare for our Fall running season. This hard work and dedication should really pay off at our meets. Our first Cross Country Meet of the season is this Saturday, August 20th @ 8:00am in Griffin. The meet will be held at Spalding County High School. Varsity, JV, and Middle School competitions will take place. See you there!

A special thanks to all of the team members and parents who came out on our work days this Summer to blaze our new cross country trail on by the Henry County Water Reservior on the back of our school property. We really appreciate the cooperation of the facilities director at our school Tommy Spinks who helped make our dream a reality. The trail only needs a few finishing touches and stumps ground to complete our project. Our hard work will really pay off by being able to run by the lake and under the shade of the trees.
